Thirteen

Does anybody else remember this movie? Evan Rachel Wood, Nikki Reed...Yes, no, maybe? Well, I found it on my shelf the other day in the middle of packing my stuff to move, and decided to take a break, pop some popcorn and put it in. And holy god. I don't remember it being so fucking crazy, my god. Evan Rachel Woods' performance was just by far incredible. Everything about this movie is just pure genius and perfection. And oh yeah, it was co-written by a thirteen year old girl.
I remember loving it before, but after re-watching it, it's definitely in my top 3. Something is just so appealing about he overall darkness of the movie.
Does anyone else still love this movie?

Lana Del Rey Mixes Black

I personally loved the sexy brown locks, but her black hair is starting to grow on me. Either way, she's a gorgeous girl. She can't do no wrong.

Journaling 101

No, unfortunately, this beautiful journal is not mine. However, I was browsing around rookie and found this fucking rad article.
I'm going to go over the main topics, but I'll put a link to the full article at the bottom.

  1. Pick a fucking awesome notebook. Weather it be a plain old notebook that you can make your own, or a kickass notebook with some crazy art on the front.
  2. Don't try to make it perfect. After all, there are no mistakes in art, only awesome accidents. Fuck being organized. The messier, the better.
  3. Get creative. Make a cocktail of writing, poems, collages, drawings, comics, you name it. Fill it with everything your brain can hold.
  4. Draw everyday activities and document things you might not normally document.

Uprising band...OONAA

I saw this band a few weeks ago. I signed up to their newsletter because let's face it, I would see them again whenever they're in LA. They're newest song - kaleidoscope- is amazing! They're amazing. It's all so energetic and fun! Especially live. The energy in the room was insane! At one point, the lead singer jumped on the drum set (in heels) and stood on an amp. Check it out. Oh yeah, and the download is a freebie.

Water Light Graffiti

Totally rad artist Antonin Fourneau has started what seems to be the street art of the future in Paris! Forget spray paint, Antonin uses series of LED lights on water sensitive panels. When sprayed with water, the LED lights glow and glisten, exposing his amazing work of art! How amazing is this? Anything wet instantly becomes his paintbrush. The thousands of LED lights shine with a single touch.
Pretty awesome, huh?
